Category Director Hydrofoil and Wing

Location - Katwijk

The Role in a Nutshell

As the Category Director, you are the “Category Captain.” You take the high-level global brand vision from the CBO and transform it into a commercially powerful, actionable category plan. You aren’t just managing products; you are owning the category vision, product direction, and the cross-functional execution needed to bring our strategy to life.

You lead through influence and strategy, guiding a “Category Squad” that spans from R&D and Design to Sales and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy & Innovation

  • Roadmap Ownership: Translate global strategies into multi-season roadmaps with clear innovation themes.
  • Product Direction: Provide strategic briefs to R&D and Design teams, ensuring every product aligns with consumer needs and brand identity.
  • Insights to Action: Turn market trends, athlete feedback, and competitor analysis into commercial opportunities.

Portfolio & Commercial Architecture

  • Assortment Structure: Build and maintain the category hierarchy (Segment → Subsegment → Family).
  • Commercial Logic: Own the pricing architecture (Premium to Entry) and define distribution strategies.
  • Lifecycle Planning: Manage SKU strategies, balancing “hero” products with high-margin staples.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • The Squad Leader: Align Marketing, Sales, Analytics, and Sourcing behind a shared category narrative.
  • GTM Readiness: Ensure seamless handovers from product creation to commercial launch, supporting Sales with clear positioning and storytelling.
  • Governance: Lead seasonal “gate” meetings and make the final call on go/no-go decisions.

Who You Are

  • The Expert: You have 5–10 years of industry-specific experience in category management or a similar strategic function.
  • The Strategist: You think long-term. You lead through decision-making and influence rather than daily operational task-tracking.
  • The Connector: You thrive in the middle of a web, communicating effectively with everyone from factory suppliers to the C-suite.
  • Visual Visionary: You have a keen eye for product aesthetics and can ensure a consistent visual identity across the entire category.

Your Stakeholders

  • Upward: Direct collaboration with the Chief Brand Officer (CBO).
  • Internal: You are the bridge between Product Management, Design, Marketing, Sales, Analytics, and Finance.
  • External: You engage with Factories, Retail Partners, and Brand Ambassadors/Athletes.

Why Join NASG?

  • Own the visual identity of an iconic, performance-driven brand
  • Work at the highest creative level shaping how North products look globally
  • Collaborate with athletes, designers, and technical experts
  • See your designs tested, used, and pushed in real-world conditions

Jr Product Graphic Designer

Location - Katwijk

The Role in a Nutshell

At North Actionsports, home to iconic watersports brands including North Kiteboarding, North Foils, North Windsurfing, and Mystic, we design and build world class equipment for riders who demand the highest levels of performance and reliability. Everything we create, from first concept to final production, is driven by innovation, precision engineering, and a deep connection to life on the water.

As Junior Product Graphic Designer North, you are the creative force behind the visual identity of the complete North product collection excluding Apparel. From wetsuits and harnesses to protection gear, accessories, hardware, and bags, you define how North products look, feel, and communicate at product level.

You lead seasonal visual direction, develop graphic systems and color architecture, and ensure every product speaks the North language clearly, consistently, and powerfully. This is a purely creative role focused on visual design, brand identity, and storytelling. All technical engineering and construction development remains with Technical Leads and Technical Designers, while you work closely with them to ensure ideas are production ready and perform in the real world.

Positioned at the intersection of brand, category, and product, you translate high level creative direction into best in class product graphics that elevate North’s presence on the water and in the market.

    • Logos, icons, labels, trims, and markings
    • Prints, patterns, and material expressions
  • Deliver clear, factory ready visual artwork in close collaboration with technical teams

  • Adapt graphic systems to different product shapes and constructions using technical input

Technical Collaboration

  • Work closely with Technical Leads and Technical Designers to understand materials, construction, and constraints
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, panel layouts, and material specifications
  • Adjust visuals based on technical feedback without owning engineering solutions

Data Analyst Intern
Duration: 6 months (minimum of 4)
Availability: Full Time (40h/week)

About the Role

At North Actionsports — home to iconic watersports brands like North Kiteboarding, North Foils, North Windsurfing, and Mystic — performance, innovation, and continuous improvement drive everything we do, both on the water and behind the scenes.

To support our teams with better insights, smarter tools, and data-driven decision-making, we’re looking for a Data Analyst Intern with a strong analytical mindset and a hands-on approach to data.

This role is not about having the perfect title or knowing every tool already. It’s about curiosity, logic, and the willingness to dig into messy datasets and turn them into something useful.

You’ll work closely with sales, operations, marketing, and product development, helping analyze data, build reports, automate workflows, and translate numbers into clear insights that support real business decisions.

This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys switching between Excel, Python, Git and presentations, and who sees data analysis as a way to understand why things happen — not just what happened.

Bonus points if you’re curious about AI, agents, and software engineering.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  • Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Clean, structure, and validate messy datasets from multiple sources
  • Build and maintain Excel-based analyses, dashboards, and reports
  • Use Python to automate data cleaning, analysis, and recurring reporting tasks
  • Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Create visualizations (charts, graphs) to support decision-making
  • Support ad-hoc analysis requests and exploratory data projects
  • Experiment with AI agents to automate repetitive tasks
  • Contribute to custom AI tools and internal applications

What We’re Looking For

Core skills (non-negotiable):

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Comfortable working with larger datasets (50k+ rows)
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking
  • Python for data analysis

Nice to have (not required):

  • Experience with Jupyter Notebooks
  • Experience training and validating ML models
  • Familiarity with Git (clone, commit, push)
  • Experience with DevOps / cloud infrastructure / MLOps
  • Experience building AI or LLM-based applications (internal tools, automations, agents)
  • Experience with Power BI

 WE OFFER

  • A hands-on internship with real responsibility and real datasets
  • Paid Internship
  • Mentorship and exposure to how data supports business decisions
  • A dynamic, international company active in over 70 countries
  • An informal, driven, and collaborative work environment
  • Attractive staff discount on our products
  • Company lunch, gym, and wellness options
  • Space to learn, experiment, and grow your skills

Send your CV, a short motivation and link to Github to c.delannoy@northasg.com

Bonus points if you can (vibe) code an app, or are curious enough to try.
