Graphic Designer Marketing

40 hours per week

We’re creative storytellers that are real, authentic, and not afraid to get raw. As a Graphic Designer at North ASG, you’ll be crafting engaging concepts that have depth and are inspired by the water experience. With the aim to engage, inform and inspire, you’ll translate concepts into high-quality designs while owning the brand identity and guidelines. You’ll be designing all visual aspects of our ads, product books, in-store visuals, logos, packaging, hangtags, POS, banners, social media assets, and more. You’ll be working for all the North ASG brands, with a team of experienced and talented creatives, reporting to the Marketing Manager.

Essential skills

  • Affinity with board sports kite, windsurf, surf or wake is required
  • A degree in a creative field such as graphic/digital design
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Excellent Adobe skillset
  • Independent
  • On- and offline experience
  • Proactive & passionate

DESIGN TRAINEE MYSTIC APPAREL

Minimum 32 hours a week

As a design trainee within the Mystic apparel team you will be working on the Mens -and womenswear collections, supporting all categories, and working closely with the designer.

Key Responsibilities

  • General support for the Apparel team
  • Work under supervision on sketches, artworks, and colorcards
  • Update tech packs
  • Prepare samples and mood boards for the presentation of collection at key meetings
  • Support fittings, photoshoots in collaboration with merchandising and design department
  • Research for Trim, Labels, and Artworks

Requirements

  • Student HBO or MBO, in your 3rd or 4th year
  • Minimum 4 days per week available for a minimum of 3 months
  • Interest in streetwear and beachwear
  • Commercial awareness and market knowledge
  • Basic material knowledge
  • Good eye for fit and garment construction and attention to details
  • Skills in illustrator/photoshop
  • Team player
  • Enthusiastic and hands-on mentality
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written

As a product development/production trainee you will play a key role in supporting the apparel team in the daily operational needs, working in collaboration with the product manager to help develop a well-balanced, commercial, and high-quality product range.

Key responsibilities

  • General support for the apparel team
  • Check samples, strike-offs, and lab dips
  • Communicate with our suppliers daily
  • Write sample comments and take care of adjustments if required
  • Handle inbound and outbound samples

  • Basic fabric knowledge
  • Interest in streetwear and beachwear
